Bos Nieuwerkerk is a specialist in turnkey flue gas systems for moving and reusing flue and process gases and reducing vibrations or noise. This minimises the impact on the environment. With the knowledge of our in-house engineers and the flexibility of our own production department, we are able to answer virtually any question, whether it be about engineering, legislation, planning, quality, safety or the environment. The laws and regulations governing industry with regard to environment, noise and surroundings are becoming increasingly stringent. We know the rules, what needs to be done to comply with them and, if possible, go the extra mile to minimise the impact of flue and process gases on the living environment. We do this in our design and execution, but also by carrying out chimney inspections with ever increasing efficiency thanks to the deployment of sensors. No chimney is too high
For more than 50 years, we have been making chimneys from 10 to 125 metres high. But that is no longer an accurate description of what we do. We deliver complete flue gas technology.
The ‘chimney’ is horizontal as well
A chimney is rarely located close to the process or processes anymore. Horizontal ductwork is often many times longer.
Many flue gas systems discard heat
Do not discard heat! We offer heat recovery and integration solutions for heat to be reused in your processes.
We guarantee the right gas disposal
Does your system require a fan? What capacity should it have and where should it be placed? Our design reduces pressure drop and energy consumption
We deliver what is needed for support
A heavier chimney or a light one with support? We provide complete auxiliary structures for chimneys and ducts.
Turnkey or prepared for automation
We can deliver your flue gas system complete with measurement and control technology. Of course, you are free to do this yourself, if you prefer.
Required more often than expected
Systems with fans may exceed permissible noise limits. We can help you avoid this with silencers and enclosures.
Your system has to be solid as a rock
Some structures require concrete and piled foundations. We take care of this for you as well. With the right expertise and the right partners.
Inspections prevent repairs
NEN 13084-1:2007 states that chimneys must be inspected periodically and recommends a two-yearly interval. We are happy to take care of that for you!
