First pile driven for the expansion of Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix
On 21 May 2026, the first pile was driven for the expansion of the Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix facility at Hoogeveenenweg.
A special moment. Not only because it was the first pile to be driven here in 36 years, but also because of the people who carried out this symbolic act. Back then, the second generation of the Goedegebuure family laid the foundations for the building project. This time, the first and fourth generations stood side by side on the construction site: Ria Goedegebuure (84) and Eef Goedegebuure (10 months).
Together with colleagues, family members and the partners helping to realise this expansion, we took a moment to mark a new chapter in the history of our family business.
Our company is constantly evolving. And as we evolve, so does the way we work. This expansion will create additional space for collaboration, connection and growth. We are also investing in the modernisation and sustainability of our facility, new meeting spaces, and a dedicated changing room for women working in our production and installation teams.
That changing room is not yet in use today. However, we have the ambition to welcome more women into our technical teams in the future. And that requires a working environment that is designed for everyone from day one.
This expansion is part of our Lekker Werken (“Enjoy Working”) programme: six routes that contribute to job satisfaction, health and our future. Through this programme, we invest not only in buildings and technology, but above all in the people who work here every day.On 21 May 2026, the first pile was driven for the expansion of the Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix facility at Hoogeveenenweg.
